—It’s Futura Extra Bold. It was Stanley’s favorite typeface. It’s sans serif. He liked Helvetica and Univers, too. Clean and elegant.

hello,

any idea what font was used for the opening credits of the shining?
tried helvetica, univers and arial (rounded) … none of these fit perfectly ..

oh it would be amazing if you could try to find out what font that is … google wasn’t that a big help so far… though it kicked me to this blog … :)
